During this 3-hour workshop, you will be introduced to main concepts and principles behind different types of mindfulness (meditation) practices, including their benefits for your body, mind, and heart. While demonstrating and incorporating practical components during our time togethter, you will be presented and guided with applicable ways how to integrate these practices into your daily emotional hygiene and personal self-care, as well as various social and professional settings.

  1. Provide an overview of meditation practice and its importance from Bio-Psycho-Social-Spiritual aspect
  2. Identify different types and dimensions of meditation practices and their applicability across various social work professional and educational settings
  3. Identify opportunities to creatively diversify both professional and personal practice by integrating different meditation techniques along with instructional practical exercises.
